Pride of Madison Program

The Pride of Madison Program

The Pride of Madison Program is a roadway adoption project to reduce litter along City of Madison's arterial roadways.  Madison residents, businesses and civic groups who adopt one mile long stretches of Madison road are asked to regularly pick up the litter and trash along the roadways.

The adopting group or individual's name is printed on two Pride of Madison street signs installed on each end of the of roadway at no cost to the group.  Green, "Pride of Madison" Safety vests are provided to adopting groups.

Groups are asked to patrol their adopted mile on a regular basis.   If you are a City of Madison resident and are concerned that a stretch of Pride of Madison roadway is not being properly serviced, please let us know.

Pride of Madison is a terrific public service and team-building opportunity for businesses, groups  or individual who are commited to keeping City of Madison free from unwanted roadway litter.

Please contact us at if interested about this program.
